Project Title: Building Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Improvement (FFS #R3GL)

State: Minnesota

Project Description: The Detroit Lakes Wetland Management District in Minnesota will receive funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 to repair infrastructure and increase energy efficiency at the district’s headquarters building. The majority of the funding will be used to make a new building at the wetland management district’s headquarters more energy efficient by installing a new geothermal heating and air conditioning unit once the building is completed. These upgrades will help the district reduce operational costs and use less energy.
